Manufacturing Assembly Manager

About the role

OPmobility is looking for a Manufacturing Assembly Manager to lead assembly production in its Exterior Business Group located in Hlohovec, Lozorno. You will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality and productivity while supporting the plant’s progress plan.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage assembly production operations to meet safety, quality and productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and support the plant progress plan.
• Conduct daily production meetings, monitor performance and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and organise production resources to meet changing business and customer demands.
• Develop and coach production teams, handling performance management and employee development.
• Support new product launches in collaboration with Program and Engineering teams.
• Maintain efficient operation, cleanliness and maintenance standards in the assembly area.
• Manage departmental budgets and achieve agreed financial targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production or Assembly Manager in the automotive industry.
• Strong people‑management experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing performance, productivity, quality and safety KPIs.
• Native Slovak speaker with fluent English communication skills.
