Linux & Automation Engineer (DevOps / Platform)

About the role

We are seeking a Linux & Automation Engineer to design, implement, and operate modern infrastructure and deployment environments for safety‑critical communication systems. The position focuses on Linux systems, virtualization, containerization, and automation to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable platforms for software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain complex Linux‑based environments.
• Manage and optimise virtual machines (KVM) and container platforms (Podman).
• Configure, troubleshoot, and enforce SELinux security policies.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Automate operational and deployment tasks with Python and Bash scripts.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimisation.

Required profile

• University degree (I. level) in Information Technology, Telecommunications or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1).
• Self‑driven, goal‑oriented, and structured work approach.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset with ownership of tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

• Basic PostgreSQL knowledge (advantage).
