Java Developer (Mid/Senior) – FinTech & Spring

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join Capco’s FinTech team in Bratislava. You will design and implement Java SE/EE and Spring Boot solutions that support modern banking platforms, working on both onsite and remote settings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful micro‑services using Java, Spring Boot, Maven and OpenAPI 3.
• Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge and guide best‑practice implementation.
• Handle configuration tasks to keep solutions stable, secure and aligned with client requirements.
• Analyse change requests and defects, turning them into improvements for system efficiency.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience building Java SE/EE applications and Spring‑based micro‑services.
• Strong understanding of core Java concepts and object‑oriented design.
• Ability to work independently or within a collaborative, agile team.
• Good communication skills in English.
