IT Infrastructure Support Engineer

About the role

ITC Infotech is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide on‑site technical assistance across multiple locations. The role involves hands‑on troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and coordination with central IT teams to ensure reliable hardware, software and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for desktops, laptops, printers, network devices and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, connectivity and user access issues.
• Perform routine checks, patching and updates on servers and network components.
• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers and wireless access points.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
• Assist in onboarding/off‑boarding activities, device provisioning and access setup.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assets, incidents and service requests.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and data‑protection protocols.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrade projects and site roll‑outs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or field support roles.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a plus.
• Ability to travel between sites and work independently.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Active Directory.
• Networking fundamentals, LAN/WAN, switches, routers and wireless access points.
• Endpoint security and hardware installation/configuration.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and remote support tools.
