Head of Supply Chain – CEERJ Region

About the role

SOBI is looking for a senior leader to shape and execute the supply chain strategy for the CEERJ region. The role bridges commercial and operational functions, driving continuous improvement and digital transformation across the end‑to‑end supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement CEERJ supply chain strategy, defining objectives and key results.
• Analyze, propose, and obtain approval for continuous supply chain improvement initiatives.
• Apply digital and data‑driven tools (Industry 4.0) to create value for patients, customers, and the company.
• Exercise situational leadership across the organization, fostering collaboration among diverse teams.
• Maintain focus on mission‑critical items while managing daily operations.
• Communicate complex decisions and actions clearly to all stakeholder levels.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Natural Science, Engineering, or related biotech fields.
• 5+ years of experience leading virtual or direct teams in complex pharma/biotech supply chain operations.
• Fluent English with strong cross‑cultural awareness; willingness to reside in a CEERJ country for 9‑12 months.
• Certified Operational Excellence, Agile leader, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred).
• Proven ability to adapt leadership style to varied cultural and organizational contexts.
