GOC Manager

About the role

The Global Opportunity Committee (GOC) Manager will lead governance processes for opportunity reviews within the Customer Project Office. Reporting to the VP of the office, you will ensure timely, high‑quality decision making across selling and execution phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Governance Opportunity Committee process, scheduling reviews and securing approvers or delegates.
• Partner with opportunity teams to align governance reviews with customer timelines and business objectives.
• Support teams in preparing GOC review materials, providing guidance and recommending improvements.
• Facilitate GOC meetings, drive constructive discussions, engage stakeholders, and capture clear outcomes.
• Prepare accurate minutes, track decisions, actions, and accountability.
• Maintain the GOC calendar, documentation, and records to ensure visibility and smooth coordination.
• Train and coach teams on governance expectations, review processes, and best practices.
• Ensure commercial, technical, operational, and risk information is presented and challenged appropriately.
• Drive continuous improvement of governance tools, processes, and ways of working.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Engineering or Business.
• At least 5 years of experience in a project‑based environment.
• Fluency in English; additional language is a plus.
• Strong leadership abilities, capable of influencing change and challenging stakeholders.
