Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain web applications and backend services that support ESET’s cybersecurity operations, threat detection, and internal research platforms. You will work in an international, cross‑functional team, taking ownership of both technical direction and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with Python and FastAPI.
• Design, implement, and optimise SQL databases and big‑data pipelines.
• Containerise services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git) and ensure rigorous testing.
• Collaborate closely with security researchers, analysts, and architects to translate requirements into reliable solutions.
• Integrate AI‑driven automation such as LLMs and AI agents into security workflows.
• Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and development processes.

Required profile

• Intermediate experience with Python (FastAPI) and React/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in SQL database design and query optimisation.
• Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
