Freelance Senior Clinical Research Associate (Remote – Slovakia)

About the role

TFS HealthScience is building a talent pool of experienced Freelance Senior Clinical Research Associates for an upcoming ophthalmology project. The position is remote, home‑based in Slovakia, and will be activated once sponsor requirements are confirmed.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, monitor (on‑site or remote), and close out study sites in compliance with company SOPs, GCP and ICH guidelines.
• Perform source data verification, review electronic or paper CRFs, and ensure protocol adherence.
• Manage investigational product accountability and oversee unblinded site activities.
• Document monitoring findings, corrective actions, and update tracking systems promptly.
• Communicate issues and action items to sites and sponsor teams to maintain data quality and participant safety.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience as a Clinical Research Associate, preferably in ophthalmology or related therapeutic areas.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and study blinding procedures.
