Experienced Product Designer - Design System

About the role

Join ESET’s global User Experience team as an Experienced Product Designer focused on the Design System. You will help shape the look, feel, and usability of security products used by more than 100 million users worldwide, working closely with designers, developers, and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead defined areas of the Design System and create comprehensive content guidelines.
• Promote best practices and drive adoption of the Design System across the organization.
• Refine components, tokens, and patterns to ensure scalability and consistency.
• Produce clear usage documentation for designers and developers.
• Map repetitive workflows to reduce friction and improve overall usability.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in every component.
• Validate design decisions through usability testing and data‑driven insights.
• Balance consistency with innovation while respecting technical feasibility.
• Provide precise implementation details to bridge design and development.
• Prioritise short‑term product needs and long‑term system evolution.
• Own deadlines, contribute to roadmap planning, and ensure transparent delivery.
• Mentor junior designers, participate in critiques, and maintain quality standards.
