Ethics & Compliance Officer – Medical Technology

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an Ethics & Compliance Officer to strengthen its Ethics & Compliance Program across the Global Medical Technology business segments and the Global Medical Office. The role serves as a trusted advisor, ensuring business activities meet the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive implementation and continuous improvement of the Ethics & Compliance Program across the CE.
• Monitor, analyze, and assess business processes, transactions, and organizational structures to identify compliance risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Act as a trusted advisor to management and business functions on compliance‑related matters and risk management.
• Deliver and coordinate compliance training and awareness initiatives for employees.
• Support adaptation and deployment of global policies, procedures, training programs, and compliance tools at the local level.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization.
• Partner closely with Legal, Finance, Commercial, and other key stakeholders to promote ethical business practices.
• Lead local compliance projects, investigations, monitoring activities, and reporting processes.
• Contribute to global compliance initiatives by providing local market insights and feedback.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business, Economics, Law, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–4 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
• Experience within healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals.
