Azure Data Engineer – Production ML Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to bridge data‑science prototypes and production‑grade machine‑learning solutions. You will work within a dedicated data‑science team, turning notebooks into scalable, governed pipelines on Databricks.

Key responsibilities

• Convert Python/Notebook prototypes into production‑ready workflows on Databricks.
• Design, build and maintain robust data and ML pipelines, including packaging and deploying models.
• Apply MLOps practices such as versioning, monitoring and automated deployment.
• Co‑manage Databricks environments, jobs and workflows, ensuring scalability, reliability and maintainability.
• Implement data‑governance, security and access controls in line with corporate standards.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists to prepare models for production use and reduce hand‑over dependencies.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in data engineering or backend engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python and SQL.
• Background in regulated or insurance environments is a plus.
