AI Engineer – Build and Deploy Machine Learning Solutions

About the role

Join PwC's Advanced Technology Solutions team as an AI Engineer. You will design, develop and operationalise AI and machine‑learning applications for global clients, turning complex business problems into reliable, production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI/ML models and Python‑based applications.
• Work with generative AI, large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation, NLP, computer‑vision and data‑science techniques.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams across Western Europe and the USA to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code and ChatPwC to improve productivity and code quality.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of experience in AI, machine learning or software engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills, including pandas, numpy and scikit‑learn.
• Hands‑on experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, NLP, computer vision or related fields.
• Experience working with SQL databases and understanding of the ML lifecycle (training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring).
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability and English proficiency (B2+).
