Warehouse Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, organise the team’s work and ensure a smooth flow of goods and materials. The role requires strong leadership, problem‑solving and a focus on efficiency, quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse activities and maintain smooth processes.
• Ensure accurate order picking and minimise shipping errors.
• Operate and monitor the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and enforce defined procedures.
• Evaluate warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, productivity, error rates, OTIF and complaints.
• Train staff, verify qualifications for handling equipment and oversee corrective actions.
• Maintain proper labeling, storage and traceability of goods.
• Propose layout optimisation and capacity utilisation improvements.
• Control attendance, discipline and performance of the warehouse team.
• Prepare the warehouse for internal and external audits and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, sales, logistics and administration departments.

Required profile

• Experience managing a warehouse with at least five employees.
• Ability to work with data, reports and analyse root causes.
• Strong authority under stress and capability to resolve conflicts.
• Systematic, detail‑oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Natural authority to enforce discipline and provide constructive feedback.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WMS systems.
• Advanced MS Office Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse software (advantageous).
• Valid forklift operator licence (advantageous).
