Transport Management Professional – Invoice Verification

About the role

The Transport Management Professional – Invoice Verification supports Covestro’s logistics finance processes by ensuring that warehouse and freight invoices match the actual movements recorded in SAP. You will act as a bridge between logistic service providers, internal transport teams and finance, guaranteeing accurate cost allocation and timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate transport and warehouse cost verification processes.
• Compare invoices from logistic service providers with SAP inventory data, shipping documents and agreed rates.
• Identify and resolve mismatches, initiate dispute cases and track their resolution.
• Enter verified cost amounts into SAP S/4HANA and manage accruals.
• Support automation initiatives to reduce manual invoice verification effort.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Procurement, Logistics and Dispute Handler teams.
• Document standard operating procedures and contribute to system enhancements.

Required profile

• University degree, bachelor’s or high‑school diploma in accounting, logistics, supply‑chain or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, transportation, logistics or 3PL environments.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting end‑to‑end processes.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.

What we offer

• Minimum salary of €1,750 per month, with potential increase based on experience.
