Supply Chain Engineer

About the role

Join ZF's international Supply Chain Management team to shape data‑driven logistics for plants in Eastern Europe. You will work with project, plant and corporate functions to bring new products into series production and continuously improve end‑to‑end supply chains.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce and support standardized supply‑chain processes aligned with ZF standards, including SAP Business Master Solution and the ZF Production Excellence System.
• Lead industrialisation sub‑projects through the GDPEP 4.0 process, using cPlace for project management.
• Provide logistics support during acquisition and project phases, performing total‑cost‑of‑ownership calculations.
• Coordinate customer and supplier topics together with Purchasing, Quality, Sales and Process Engineering.
• Define and integrate intralogistics processes, focusing on smart automation such as AGVs and AMRs.
• Analyse global end‑to‑end supply chains, perform value‑stream mapping and develop corporate data solutions.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical or business‑related field, preferably with a focus on operations, global supply‑chain management or logistics.
• Initial practical experience in a comparable supply‑chain or production role, ideally within the automotive industry.
• Basic knowledge of SAP and Industry 4.0 solutions, strong analytical thinking and a solution‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams, with good coordination and communication skills.
• Business‑fluent English and willingness to travel between ZF plants in Eastern Europe.
