Site HSE Manager – Project Košice

About the role

Lead and promote a strong Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) culture across the project and contractor teams. Develop, implement and maintain the Site HSE Management System, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and promote HSE culture across the project and contractor teams.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Site HSE Management System.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Deliver HSE training, inductions and awareness programs.
• Support emergency response and Permit to Work processes.
• Monitor HSE KPIs, prepare reports and manage documentation.
• Support supplier HSE qualification and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Health, Safety, Environment, Engineering or a recognized HSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH).
• Minimum 5 years of site‑based HSE leadership experience in construction/commissioning on large international projects.
• Strong knowledge of Slovak and international HSE regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SCC and best practices.
• Certified ISO 14001/45001 Auditor with good MS Office skills.
• Fluent in Slovak and English with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
