Senior Solutions Architect

About the role

As a Senior Solutions Architect at NTT DATA you will partner with clients and internal teams to design and deliver advanced, transformational security solutions that protect complex enterprise and operational technology environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead end‑to‑end cybersecurity architectures for large organisations, covering IT, hybrid, and OT/ICS environments.
• Architect and oversee SIEM and security monitoring solutions for threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Create secure network designs including firewalls (e.g., Fortinet), segmentation, micro‑segmentation, site‑to‑site connectivity and Zero Trust principles.
• Integrate multiple security technologies (SIEM, EDR, NDR, IAM, SOAR, vulnerability management) into a cohesive ecosystem.
• Design secure hybrid and multi‑cloud environments and ensure seamless integration with on‑premises infrastructure.
• Provide architectural leadership for protecting industrial control systems in manufacturing or critical infrastructure sectors.
• Ensure solutions comply with standards such as ISO 27001, NIS2, IEC 62443, NIST, GDPR.
• Conduct architecture assessments, identify risks and propose remediation strategies.
• Produce documentation, roadmaps and proof‑of‑concepts, and act as a trusted advisor to translate business risks into technical solutions.
• Present complex technical topics to both technical teams and executive management, and mentor junior architects and engineers.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in enterprise security architecture.
• Trusted advisor capable of communicating security risks and solutions to business leaders.
• Mentor for junior architects and contributor to internal knowledge sharing.
• Proactive monitor of industry trends and emerging cybersecurity technologies.

Required skills

• Security Architecture design across IT, hybrid and OT/ICS environments.
• SIEM platforms and integration with SOAR, EDR, NDR, IAM, vulnerability management tools.
• Fortinet or equivalent next‑generation firewalls, network segmentation and micro‑segmentation.
• Zero Trust architecture principles.
• Hybrid and multi‑cloud security design (public, private, multi‑cloud).
• Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) security.
• Compliance with ISO 27001, NIS2, IEC 62443, NIST, GDPR.
