Senior Procurement Manager

About the role

Syntax, a leading Managed Cloud Provider, is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to lead global procurement of IT hardware and software. The role will act as an internal service provider, ensuring cost‑effective sourcing and strong supplier relationships across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute international procurement projects for IT hardware and software.
• Develop and implement global procurement strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Monitor market trends and conduct cost‑comparison and benchmarking analyses.
• Lead tendering, bidding, and contract negotiations worldwide.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive value‑improvement initiatives.
• Oversee supplier performance, conduct evaluations, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate data in procurement systems and produce KPI reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in international procurement, preferably within the IT sector.
• Strong knowledge of global procurement markets and sourcing best practices.
• Proven experience in contract negotiations and supplier performance management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and project‑management abilities.
