Senior Internal Auditor (Projects)

About the role

Kanadevia Inova is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to lead audits of large international EPC projects, ensuring robust governance, cost control, schedule adherence, and contract management. You will work closely with senior project leaders to identify risks, root causes of delays, and drive practical improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute audits of EPC projects, reviewing governance, project controls, cost, schedule, and contracts.
• Assess execution risks, pinpoint root causes of overruns, and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with project leadership to strengthen decision‑making and reduce delivery risk.
• Engage senior stakeholders, presenting clear, business‑focused insights.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives through data‑driven auditing and enhancement of internal control frameworks.

Required profile

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or related field; PMP certification is a plus.
• 7–15 years of experience in EPC or large industrial projects, with strong knowledge of project governance, cost/schedule control, contracts, risk and claims.
• Ability to work independently in an international matrix organization and travel up to 30%.
• High integrity, business acumen and a hands‑on, improvement‑driven mindset.
