Senior Commodity Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Commodity Manager to lead the acquisition of indirect goods and services, ensuring alignment with departmental and organisational guidelines. The role works closely with Vertiv’s global category team and regional teams across APAC, EMEA and the Americas to drive efficient, compliant sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global category strategies for indirect spend.
• Partner with senior business leaders to influence demand and sourcing decisions.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives, including RFx processes, negotiations and e‑sourcing.
• Identify and deliver cost‑optimization, cost‑avoidance and standardisation opportunities.
• Govern supplier selection, contract management and performance in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Utilise market intelligence and analytics to support fact‑based decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in indirect sourcing or category management.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders (L1/L2 leaders).
• Strong commercial, negotiation and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English (C1 level).
