Senior Android Software Engineer (Medical-grade Apps)

About the role

We are looking for a self‑motivated Senior Android Engineer to design, build and deliver medical‑grade Android applications and SDKs. The role focuses on internationalization, localization and regulatory readiness for multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality Android apps using Java, Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and technology teams to define, design and ship new capabilities.
• Translate customer and market needs into secure, efficient mobile solutions.
• Scope work, break it into modules, estimate effort and coordinate with program management.
• Present concepts and solutions to customers, partners and leadership.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while participating in daily triage meetings (US/MX time zones).
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of native Android development experience.
• Proven experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android UI design principles and patterns.
• Experience with web services, cloud APIs and wireless communication technologies.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and create prototypes.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in Agile software development; prior product launches in FCC/FDA‑regulated industries are a plus.

What we offer
