Senior AI Engineer - Agentic Workflows

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer specialized in agentic workflows to build the skills, tools and agents that power our most advanced generative AI products. You will work closely with business and product teams to translate high‑level problems into structured, production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end agentic workflows using LangGraph to solve complex business problems.
• Translate business needs into scalable AI solutions, building reusable skills, tools and agents.
• Integrate multiple LLM providers, optimise cost, speed and quality, and improve performance through prompt design and token efficiency.
• Define evaluation metrics, guardrails and observability tooling to ensure reliability and quality.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, data science and ML optimisation teams to deliver production‑ready AI systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Python development with strong software‑engineering fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience building production systems that leverage Large Language Models.
• Proven experience with LangGraph or comparable agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain).
• Ability to design evaluation methodologies for LLM/agent quality, including datasets and metrics.
• High ownership, proactive communication and the capacity to decompose ambiguous business problems into technical solutions.

Required skills

• Python (including async patterns).
• LangGraph / LangChain.
• Large Language Model integration (Claude, etc.).
• Pydantic typed schemas.
• Prompt engineering, token accounting and cost optimisation.
• Observability tools such as Langfuse or LangSmith.
