Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who enjoys numbers, structure and well‑organised processes. You will be part of an international pharmaceutical company, contributing to accurate financial reporting and supporting audits. The role offers the chance to influence and improve accounting workflows while working with a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Processing accounting documents and handling monthly and annual closings.
• Ensuring data accuracy and compliance with legislation.
• Preparing financial reports and analyses for the CFO and management.
• Providing documentation and explanations during internal and external audits.
• Proposing improvements to increase efficiency of accounting workflows.
• Mentoring junior accountants and offering professional guidance.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting legislation.
• Fluent English with confident communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, accuracy and responsibility.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Experience with Workday.
