Security Monitoring Operator – Threat Analysis & Services

About the role

Join our Threat Analysis & Services team as a Security Monitoring Operator and launch your cybersecurity career. You will work in a global 24/7 Managed Detection and Response (MDR) centre, using cutting‑edge tools to protect client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate shift‑based monitoring in a 24/7 MDR centre under expert guidance.
• Utilise EDR, XDR, SIEM and SOAR platforms to detect, investigate and mitigate threats.
• Document adversary activity, produce incident reports and escalate when needed.
• Analyse client data to uncover security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Participate in threat hunting, intelligence gathering and proactive security measures.
• Assist in creating and maintaining low‑level detection rules for EDR, XDR and SIEM.
• Contribute to the improvement of MDR toolsets, incident response playbooks and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for a career in cybersecurity and willingness to work 24/7 shift schedules.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (B2) and strong analytical mindset.
• Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems and computer networking.
• Interest in continuous learning and ability to handle large volumes of data patiently.

Required skills

• Familiarity with security monitoring tools such as SIEM or SOAR (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Elasticsearch, ArcSight).
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua).
• Knowledge of EDR/XDR concepts and rule creation.
• Understanding of network fundamentals (IP addresses, ports, protocols, MAC addresses).
