Security Monitoring Operator – Cybersecurity Enthusiast

About the role

Join a fast‑growing Threat Analysis & Services team as a Security Monitoring Operator. You will work in a 24/7 Managed Detection and Response (MDR) centre, using cutting‑edge security tools to protect client environments and gain hands‑on experience in the cybersecurity field.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor client environments around the clock using EDR, XDR, SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Investigate and document security incidents, escalating when necessary.
• Analyze client data to uncover vulnerabilities and potential risks.
• Participate in threat hunting, intelligence gathering and proactive security measures.
• Develop and fine‑tune low‑level detection rules for EDR, XDR and SIEM solutions.
• Contribute to the improvement of MDR toolsets, incident‑response playbooks and reporting processes.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and communicate findings to clients.

Required profile

• Background in IT security or related studies (certifications optional).
• Interest in continuous learning and willingness to work 24/7 shift schedules.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (B2).

Required skills

• Familiarity with security monitoring platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Elasticsearch, ArcSight).
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua).
• Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addresses, ports, protocols, MAC addresses).
