Sales & Technical Representative, Cardiovascular

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Sales & Technical Representative for its Cardiovascular portfolio to support the adoption of cardiac rhythm management and electrophysiology therapies. The role is field‑based in Slovakia, requiring regular visits to hospitals, catheterisation labs and operating rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support to physicians and staff during electrophysiology and CIED procedures.
• Deliver product training and education on safe, effective use of assigned technologies.
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians and other key stakeholders.
• Support case coverage, device programming, troubleshooting and procedural workflow optimization.
• Coordinate with sales, clinical and cross‑functional teams to execute account plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Technology, Technical Engineering or related field.
• 0‑1 years of relevant experience in medical devices, clinical support or technical sales.
• Fluency in Slovak and working proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Slovakia and work in hospital environments.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to manage a regional territory independently.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmia management.
• Experience with Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIED) procedures and device programming.
• Ability to troubleshoot medical devices and optimize procedural workflows.
