RTR Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an RTR (Record‑to‑Report) Accountant to join our finance team in Bratislava. You will work on end‑to‑end accounting processes, focusing on Fixed Assets and Intercompany transactions while contributing to the automation and modernization of our finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily financial transactions, including journal entries, intercompany invoicing and fixed‑asset accounting (capitalizations, disposals, transfers).
• Create and maintain asset master data and related projects in ERP systems.
• Lead and support month‑end close activities, ensuring deadlines, accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and resolve open items.
• Manage intercompany transactions, cross‑charges, corrections and adjustments.
• Collaborate with regional controllers and cross‑functional teams (PTP, ICO, GBS) for accurate reporting.
• Support internal and external audits as a key contact and provide high‑quality documentation.
• Perform financial analysis and ad‑hoc reporting for management.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and standardisation initiatives.
• Participate in projects aimed at continuous improvement of RTR processes.

Required profile

• Accountant with a strong interest in Fixed Assets and Intercompany accounting.
• Attention to financial accuracy and a curiosity about evolving finance roles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Willingness to take ownership of end‑to‑end processes and drive improvements.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems for asset and intercompany management.
