Quality QMS Auditor

About the role

The Quality QMS Auditor will independently assess global Quality Management System processes, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, regulatory requirements and customer expectations. The role drives standardisation, continuous improvement and governance visibility across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk‑based internal audits of QMS processes worldwide.
• Evaluate process effectiveness, maturity and preventive controls.
• Identify systemic risks and differentiate local issues from enterprise‑level weaknesses.
• Document audit findings with clear evidence, risk prioritisation and recommendations.
• Drive and verify corrective actions (RCCA/CAPA) and validate their effectiveness through data and follow‑up audits.
• Monitor audit performance, report trends to Global Quality leadership and support management review.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, regulatory and customer‑specific quality standards.
• Provide auditor training and support for external quality system audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a QMS role.
• Certified Internal Auditor.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.
• Proven experience conducting process‑based internal audits in a global, multi‑functional environment.
• Ability to drive sustainable corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Analytical skills to assess and prioritise systemic global risks.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 standard knowledge.
• Certified Internal Auditor qualification.
• ISO 9000 Lead Auditor (preferred).
• DFMEA and PFMEA methodology.
• Control Plans development.
• RCCA and CAPA processes.
• Audit methodologies and QMS capability development.
