Procurement Specialist

About the role

As a Procurement Specialist at Hitachi Digital, you will manage end‑to‑end Purchase‑to‑Pay (P2P) operations across Hitachi Group entities. You will lead price negotiations, standardise procurement processes and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research potential vendors and evaluate supplier offers.
• Track orders, ensure on‑time delivery and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Validate accounting documents and enter them into the purchasing system.
• Review, create and coordinate supplier contracts and related documentation.
• Support month‑end closing reports and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a buyer or equivalent procurement role.
• Prior accounting or finance experience is preferred.
• Degree in administration, accounting, economics or related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Slovak.
• Experience with direct/indirect purchases in the Slovak market.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative‑taking attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team.
