Nutrition safety and compliance specialist

About the role

The Nutrition Safety and Compliance Specialist ensures that all food production processes meet strict hygiene, quality and regulatory standards. You will work closely with production teams to monitor, audit and improve safety practices across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with IFS, BIO and local authority requirements.
• Conduct internal audits, risk assessments and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform laboratory analyses, including microbiological sampling and result reporting.
• Guarantee the quality of raw materials, auxiliary materials and finished products.
• Ensure batch traceability and verify recipe compliance with batch numbers.
• Release production orders, handle complaints and coordinate sample shipments.

Required profile

• English language proficiency at B2 level.
• 2+ years experience in food production (or 1+ year in a similar role in another manufacturing sector), suitable for recent graduates.
• Leadership abilities with experience supervising staff.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
