About the role
Eurofins Food Testing Slovakia, active in the food and feed industry since 1997, is looking for a microbiology laboratory technician in Nové Zámky. The role covers sampling, microbiological analysis and diagnostic work on water and food samples.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and prepare water samples for microbiological and hydrobiological analysis
- Collect and prepare food and feed samples for microbiological analysis
- Carry out microbiological analyses
- Perform diagnostic tests such as agglutination, biochemical assays and work with pure microbial cultures
- Run real-time PCR tests to detect pathogen genetic material
- Work with the laboratory information system and process results
Required profile
- Degree in biology, microbiology, food science or laboratory technician (food)
What we offer
- Proposed starting salary of 1,000 EUR gross per month, with further growth depending on performance and acquired competencies
