Lawyer – Corporate and Commercial Law

About the role

EY is looking for motivated law school graduates eager to learn continuously. Unlike traditional law firms, EY's business and legal advice are closely aligned, and lawyers work closely with colleagues from Tax, Transactions, Consulting and Assurance. The position is full-time, starts as soon as possible, pays EUR 1,600 per month and offers a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare analyses and opinions in corporate and commercial, competition, financial, pharmaceutical and labour law
• Take part in preparing client transactions and the related implementation documents
• Work with colleagues from other service lines and countries on joint projects, often for major international and Slovak companies
• Monitor legal news and changes and assess their impact on clients
• Keep learning through internal or external training and cooperation with more experienced colleagues

Required profile

• Master's degree in law
• Previous work experience is not required but is an advantage
• Fluent Slovak and English
• Strong communication skills, initiative, teamwork and interest in client engagements

Required skills

• Advanced PC literacy, including MS Office and MS Excel
