Infrastructure Deployment Services Technical Consultant

About the role

Join Lenovo's Infrastructure Deployment Services team to deliver large‑scale AI and HPC solutions for leading organisations across EMEA and beyond. You will work on complex deployments such as liquid‑cooled GPU clusters and AI‑ready data‑center platforms, collaborating closely with customers and global project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support large‑scale HPC and AI infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers.
• Lead integration, validation, testing and troubleshooting of complex GPU‑cluster and AI platforms.
• Implement and optimise AI orchestration, MLOps platforms and GPU resource management in production environments.
• Collaborate with customers, technology partners and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical expertise during operational readiness to ensure solutions are stable, scalable and production‑ready.

Required profile

• Strong experience administering Linux environments (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, SLES) and supporting enterprise‑scale HPC and AI infrastructure.
• Proven background deploying, integrating and supporting HPC and AI clusters from installation through production readiness.
• Deep understanding of NVIDIA AI platforms, GPU architectures and resource management.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑performance networking (InfiniBand, Ethernet, RoCEv2, Spectrum‑X) and fabric management.

Required skills

• Kubernetes / OpenShift and container orchestration.
• GPU orchestration platforms and AI/ML tools such as Kubeflow, MLflow, JupyterHub, Run:AI, Rafay, ClearML.
• HPC workload schedulers (Slurm, PBS Pro) and high‑performance storage (GPFS, VAST Data, DDN).
• Monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Icinga, NVIDIA DCGM, NVIDIA Cluster Validation Suite).
• Programming/scripting: Python, Bash, Ansible, Git.
