Head Supply Chain CEERJ

About the role

Sobi, a biotech company developing therapies for people living with rare diseases, is looking for a deep operations and supply chain leader experienced in the CEERJ region. The role bridges commercial and operations perspectives with an end-to-end supply chain view, focusing on strategy deployment, continuous improvement of supply chain mechanisms and the use of digital and data-driven Industry 4.0 standards. It also calls for broad leadership, intercultural awareness, decisive communication and people development skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop CEERJ supply chain strategy objectives and key results
• Analyse, propose and obtain approval for continuous supply chain improvement initiatives
• Apply digital and data-driven tools to add value for patients, customers and the company
• Apply situational leadership and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Focus on mission-critical items and communicate complex situations and decisions clearly across the organisation

Required profile

• Master's degree or equivalent in Economics, Natural Sciences or Engineering in Biotech Ecosystems
• 5+ years leading teams (virtual or direct reporting) on complex supply chain operations in pharma/biotech
• Fluent English and solid cross-cultural awareness
• Willingness to stay in a CEERJ country for at least 9-12 months working in pharma supply chain, marketing and sales
• Adaptable leadership across content, cultures and ranks, with a focus on strategic, patient-centred goals

Required skills

• Certified Operational Excellence Agile Leader, Green Belt or equivalent training is beneficial
• Solid communication and leadership across the end-to-end supply chain
