Head of Travel Department – Luxury Travel

About the role

Insignia Group of Companies is looking for an experienced leader to head its Luxury Travel Department. The role oversees all travel‑related services for corporate and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients, ensuring operational excellence and premium service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage back‑office travel operations, covering hotel reservations, airline ticketing, car rentals, chauffeur services, deliveries, logistics and ancillary services.
• Build and optimise a global supplier network—including airlines, hotels, travel agencies, mobility providers and logistics vendors—negotiating rates, SLAs and exclusive benefits.
• Develop pricing structures, monitor service quality, implement KPIs and reporting, and handle escalation and problem resolution.
• Design scalable corporate travel solutions for large enterprises and VIP clients, collaborating with sales, concierge and client‑relationship teams.
• Act as senior operational contact for key partners and internal stakeholders, supporting complex itineraries and high‑level client requests with discretion and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in travel industry, preferably in corporate, luxury travel or travel management companies.
• Proven track record in operations management, supplier coordination and network development.
• Strong existing contacts with travel agencies, airlines, hotels and corporate travel providers.
