Head of Purchasing – EABU

About the role

The Head of Purchasing for the EABU will drive both long‑term strategic transformation and immediate cost‑saving initiatives across the procurement function. This senior leader bridges high‑level corporate road‑maps with day‑to‑day buying activities, ensuring the department works smarter, not harder.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global category playbooks for direct and indirect spend.
• Lead ESG and circular‑economy initiatives, embedding green procurement and social responsibility into sourcing.
• Deliver annual hard‑cost savings, manage high‑volume contract renewals, and resolve supply‑chain disruptions.
• Drive digital transformation through AI‑powered spend analytics and SAP‑based Procure‑to‑Pay workflows.
• Upskill the procurement team, define KPIs, and establish clear performance metrics.
• Align procurement goals with the 3‑5‑year corporate roadmap and ensure stakeholder integration.
