Global Customer Manager

About the role

This customer‑facing position is responsible for managing strategic accounts, collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Business Units, Global Supply Chain, Pricing and Operations. The role focuses on solving complex forecasting, demand and supply challenges while influencing key business decisions to support customer objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and validate demand for strategic customers and triangulate forecasts from multiple sources.
• Monitor capacity situations and company expansion or constraint directions to align with customer needs.
• Promote ON Semiconductor supply‑chain competencies and drive customer accountability to demand forecasts.
• Deliver processes, tools and metrics that enable credible and accountable demand statements.
• Leverage market trends and customer earnings reports to inform strategy.
• Translate company strategy into actionable goals for customers.
• Support the GCM team with business analytics, automation, reporting and tool development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Experience in a customer‑facing service environment.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Intermediate data‑analysis skills in Excel, including complex formulas, pivots and charts.
• Experience presenting complex issues at the executive level.
• At least three years of experience in semiconductor, contract manufacturing or high‑tech industries.
