GenAI Engineer

About the role

Join Capco as a GenAI Engineer and help shape the future of financial services by building scalable Python applications that leverage generative AI technologies. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative AI‑driven solutions for leading banks and insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications focused on GenAI, including document chunking and embedding techniques.
• Collaborate with UI teams to create intuitive front‑ends using Angular or React.
• Implement deployment pipelines with Docker, Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into clean, production‑ready code.
• Follow coding best practices and contribute to testing and documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent English (German is a plus).
• 1–3 years of professional Python experience.
• Strong interest in GenAI, large language models and data‑search technologies.
• Experience with either front‑end frameworks (Angular/React) or DevOps tools (Docker, GitHub Actions).
• Motivation to learn, solve problems and work collaboratively.
