Founding Engineer – Flutter Mobile Architecture

About the role

We are looking for a Founding Engineer to own and evolve the mobile frontend architecture of our flagship iGaming platform. You will build high‑throughput, low‑latency Flutter applications that serve millions of active players worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the high‑level mobile system architecture, ensuring stability, modularity and performance.
• Translate business objectives into technical blueprints, set benchmarks for startup time, memory usage and frame rates.
• Evaluate emerging mobile technologies and design migration strategies, including native add‑to‑app integrations.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and performance optimisation using Dart isolates and profiling tools.
• Standardise CI/CD pipelines, Fastlane automation and store submission processes across teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of commercial software development, with at least 3 years focused on Flutter/Dart.
• Proven experience as a founding or lead engineer building large‑scale, high‑load enterprise mobile applications.
• Strong technical leadership, mentorship and ability to drive cross‑functional alignment.
• Hands‑on expertise with real‑time data handling (WebSockets, protobuf/JSON) and mobile security (certificate pinning, obfuscation).

Required skills

• Flutter, Dart (isolates, async, null safety)
• State‑management frameworks such as Bloc or Riverpod
• iOS development with Swift and Android development with Kotlin
• CI/CD tools, Fastlane, monorepo management (Melos)
• Performance profiling (DevTools, Impeller), security best practices
