Flutter Tech Lead

About the role

This role owns and drives the frontend mobile architecture for GR8_TECH's flagship iGaming products. You will scale real‑time user experiences to millions of active users by delivering high‑throughput, low‑latency Flutter applications while raising engineering standards across the mobile teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain high‑level mobile system architecture, ensuring stability, modularity, and performance.
• Translate business goals into technical blueprints, set benchmarks for startup time, memory footprint, and frame rates.
• Evaluate new mobile technologies, design migration strategies, and integrate native add‑to‑app solutions.
• Establish security baselines such as certificate pinning, code obfuscation, and anti‑tampering logic.
• Write hands‑on code for critical systems, lead incident response, and optimise UI performance using Dart isolates.
• Partner with product managers and stream leads to align technical roadmaps with release schedules.
• Standardise CI/CD pipelines, fastlane automation, and store submission processes.
• Mentor senior and mid‑level engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering culture through architecture reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of commercial software development experience, including 3+ years with Flutter/Dart.
• Hands‑on experience in native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development.
• Strong system design and architectural thinking, deep knowledge of Dart isolates, async, null safety, and Flutter’s rendering pipeline.
• Proven ability to balance technical quality with delivery speed and own end‑to‑end technical decisions.
• Experience with real‑time data handling (WebSockets, protobuf/JSON) and mobile security standards.
• Effective communication across engineering and non‑engineering stakeholders and a mentorship mindset.
