Expert Deals Consultant – Transaction Advisory

About the role

PwC’s Deals team in Bratislava is expanding and seeks an experienced consultant to lead Financial Due Diligence projects and contribute to broader transaction advisory work. The role offers the chance to work on multiple concurrent deals, interact with senior clients, and develop within a multi‑skilled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Financial Due Diligence assignments from small reviews to complex transactions.
• Analyse financial statements, identify key risks and deal drivers, and produce high‑quality analytical outputs.
• Prepare EBITDA normalisations, working‑capital, debt and cash‑flow analyses.
• Support valuations, financial modelling and M&A analyses as required.
• Communicate with senior client representatives and translate expectations into actionable solutions.
• Collaborate closely with tax, legal and other advisory teams.
• Mentor junior team members and allocate responsibilities within the project team.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Financial Due Diligence, M&A, valuations or related Deal advisory work.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with senior clients.
