Enterprise Architect

About the role

Join Swiss Re’s Group Enterprise Architecture team in Bratislava and help shape the AI transformation journey for a global re/insurance leader. You will design AI target architectures, guide delivery teams, and ensure governance across strategic, complex initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define AI use cases, roadmaps, target architectures, blueprints and transition plans in collaboration with business domains.
• Design end‑to‑end AI solution architectures covering business, application, data, model, integration, security, observability and production deployment.
• Act as Enterprise Architect on AI programs, overseeing architecture from strategy through implementation and operational ownership.
• Review and challenge design decisions to protect architectural integrity, business value and sustainability.
• Drive architecture governance, design authority reviews, quality assurance and compliance mechanisms.
• Maintain the AI inventory, generate insights, identify patterns and support portfolio‑level decisions.

Required profile

• Collaborative, curious and analytically minded professional comfortable in fast‑moving, complex environments.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into coherent AI architectures and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
• Experience engaging a wide range of business and technology partners and building trusted relationships.

Required skills

• AI/GenAI architecture patterns: LLMs, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, agents and tool use.
• Production‑grade AI solution design and evaluation.
• Enterprise architecture frameworks, governance models, reference architectures and design authority processes.
• MLOps/LLMOps, AI security and privacy patterns, observability, model monitoring and Responsible AI controls.
• Use of architecture inventories and repositories to identify reuse opportunities and governance insights.

What we offer

• Base salary range EUR 2,200 – EUR 3,700 per month (full‑time).
