Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to own execution, performance, and growth of one or more engineering teams at Eurowag. The role combines people leadership with technical oversight, ensuring reliable software delivery that aligns with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage one or multiple engineering teams, handling hiring, mentoring, and career development.
• Foster a high‑trust, collaborative culture that encourages innovation, psychological safety, and ownership.
• Partner with Product Managers and Owners to shape product outcomes, assess feasibility, and provide technical estimates during discovery.
• Guide architectural decisions, ensure cross‑team consistency, and balance speed with long‑term maintainability.
• Drive Agile delivery, refine processes, and track team‑level OKRs.
• Prioritize customer value, manage technical debt, and promote observability practices such as monitoring, logging, and alerting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an engineering leadership role (e.g., Engineering Manager, Team Lead).
• Strong passion for people management, team development, and building a positive culture.
• Solid technical background in software development, capable of engaging in architectural discussions.
• Strategic mindset that balances team health, technical debt, and feature delivery.
