EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist to safeguard our international trade operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The role ensures end‑to‑end compliance with import/export, customs, sanctions and trade control regulations while supporting responsible growth.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain EMEA trade compliance policies, oversee HS classification and documentation for all cross‑border activities.
• Manage customs broker performance, conduct audits and guarantee accurate customs declarations.
• Perform restricted‑party screening, evaluate export‑control scenarios and coordinate licensing or escalation when needed.
• Carry out risk assessments, support internal reviews, regulatory inquiries and audit remediation, maintaining compliance dashboards.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal teams, providing guidance and training on cross‑border shipments and trade requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, International Business, Economics or related field; certifications such as CTP or UCC are a plus.
• Proven experience with EU customs, import/export compliance, sanctions regimes, dual‑use controls and origin procedures.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex regulations, conduct audits and manage BI tools.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive problem‑solver with excellent communication skills.

What we offer

• Base salary of €1,960 per month plus an annual bonus linked to company results.
