Electronics Engineer – Expert (R&D)

About the role

We are expanding our R&D team and are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to develop premium automotive lighting systems for leading global automotive brands. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies, turning concepts into high‑performance lighting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design PCB specifications, taking thermal resistance (Rth) into account.
• Select and calculate LEDs based on project and customer requirements.
• Define system calibration parameters such as current, LEDs, NTCs, and binning.
• Create electronic architecture, wiring harnesses, and block diagrams for automotive lighting systems.
• Develop electronic schematics and PCB layouts.
• Support EMC testing preparation and execution.
• Analyse customer technical requirements and translate them into electronic solutions.
• Present electronic concepts to internal teams and customers.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and international project teams.
• Travel to customer and supplier locations when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in electronic hardware development and PCB design.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, EAGLE or similar).
• Understanding of LED technology and electronic system architecture.
• Ability to perform thermal resistance calculations.
• Knowledge of EMC testing processes.
