EHS Project Manager

About the role

The EHS Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects safely and in full compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards across Nove Mesto nad Vahom and other EMEA manufacturing sites. The role integrates EHS requirements from design through execution, ensuring a zero‑harm mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate EHS requirements into all project phases and apply “safety by design” principles.
• Act as the primary EHS interface for project teams, engineering, and contractors.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project‑related risks; oversee risk assessments and control implementation.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, corporate standards, and permit requirements.
• Support project managers in embedding EHS deliverables into plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor construction and installation activities to guarantee safe execution.
• Investigate incidents or near‑misses, implement corrective actions, and capture lessons learned.
• Collaborate with EHS, Operations, Engineering, VOS, Maintenance, and other functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, Industrial or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS management and/or project management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong safety leadership and ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
