Corporate Accounting & Reporting Expert – Internal Controls

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Expert for Corporate Accounting & Reporting to join our international Finance team in Bratislava. The role focuses on internal controls, audit coordination and supporting accurate financial reporting across the Home Comfort subgroup.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor risk‑based internal audits across multiple legal entities within the Bosch Home Comfort Group.
• Develop audit plans and detailed testing procedures based on risk assessments, internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Implement, interpret and maintain internal control guidelines, especially for newly acquired entities.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and legal/regulatory requirements and ensure timely updates.
• Prepare clear audit reports, communicate findings, assess risks and recommend process improvements.
• Present audit results to management and stakeholders and facilitate corrective actions.
• Leverage data analytics and automation tools to enhance audit effectiveness.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and support the annual Group financial statement audit.
• Contribute to IFRS reporting, consolidation and continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 4–6 years of operational audit experience in a manufacturing environment; Big 4 experience preferred.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (B2) or higher.
