About the role
As a Compliance & Safety Specialist you will work closely with the Compliance Monitoring and Safety Manager to ensure the highest standards of regulatory compliance and operational safety across our line‑maintenance network. The position blends hands‑on aircraft maintenance knowledge with a strong focus on process improvement and continuous safety enhancement.
Key responsibilities
- Support the organisation’s Compliance Monitoring System in line with EASA Part‑145 requirements.
- Plan, conduct and coordinate internal compliance audits across maintenance stations and organisational processes.
- Assist customer, authority and third‑party audits.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions, including root‑cause analysis and effectiveness reviews.
- Track regulatory changes and integrate them into company procedures.
- Maintain and update company manuals, controlled documentation and the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
- Support approvals for new maintenance stations, aircraft types and organisational capabilities.
- Prepare documentation and notifications required by the CAA.
- Support the Safety Management System (SMS), maintain hazard registers and safety performance indicators.
- Participate in safety risk assessments and drive continuous safety improvement.
- Prepare Safety Review Board and management meeting documentation.
- Coordinate recurrent regulatory training programmes and maintain personnel competence records.
- Collaborate with maintenance managers and certifying staff to improve operational performance and regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- Previous experience within an EASA Part‑145 maintenance organisation.
- Practical aircraft maintenance experience is highly valued.
- Good understanding of line‑maintenance operations and the challenges faced by certifying staff and technicians.
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part‑145 regulatory requirements.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on process improvement and safety culture.
