Cloud DevOps Engineer (Payment Gateway)

About the role

We are expanding our Payment Solutions team and need a Cloud DevOps Engineer to help build, secure, and operate our new payment platform in the cloud. You will work in an agile, cross‑functional environment, collaborating closely with other engineers to ensure high availability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Configure and operate AWS services such as IAM, Cognito, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, API Gateway, MSK (Kafka), ALB, and VPN.
• Run containerized micro‑services on AWS and provide on‑duty support for the payment solution.
• Collaborate closely with fellow DevOps engineers and cross‑functional agile teams.
• Apply strong security practices throughout all work.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• 3+ years of DevOps experience with solid knowledge of DevOps principles.
• Experience with source‑code management (Git) and building secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic to advanced knowledge of AWS services.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Ability to work effectively in an agile environment and collaborate within a team.
• Strong stress‑resilience, flexibility, and customer‑centric mindset.

What we offer

• Salary starting at €2,800 gross per month, with an average of €3,080 gross per month including bonuses and allowances.
