Category Manager – Fleet & Mobility (EMEA)

About the role

Vertiv is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead its EMEA Fleet & Mobility category. You will own the strategy, drive cost optimisation, and champion sustainability across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the EMEA Fleet & Mobility category strategy aligned with business and sustainability targets.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships for vehicle leasing, fuel, EV charging, telematics and fleet services.
• Lead multi‑country sourcing projects, contract negotiations and framework agreements.
• Harmonise fleet policies while respecting regional and local requirements.
• Support the electrification roadmap and sustainability agenda for the EMEA fleet portfolio.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, EHS and Sustainability teams to achieve objectives.
• Present fleet performance, KPIs and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Use digital tools and data analytics to identify optimisation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field (MBA, CIPS a plus).
• 8+ years of experience in strategic procurement or category management, preferably in fleet, mobility or complex services.
• Proven success managing multi‑country supplier relationships, sourcing projects and commercial negotiations.
• Strong understanding of fleet industry dynamics, leasing models, IFRS 16, EV transition and telematics.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.

• Salary range for Slovakia: €33,739 – €42,174 gross per year.
